About OWL
What is OWL?
OWL (Operational Workflow Listener) is a voice-enabled assistant for doctors. You dictate a prescription, OWL turns it into a structured form, you review and confirm it, and OWL saves it and creates a PDF.
Who is OWL for?
Doctors in private practice, clinics with one or more doctors, and hospital outpatient departments in India.
Which languages can I dictate in?
OWL is being built for English and the Hindi-English mix many doctors use in practice. Contact us for the languages available today.
Does OWL give medical advice or make a diagnosis?
No. OWL is a documentation assistant. It records what you dictate and organises it into a prescription. Diagnosis, treatment and the content of every prescription remain the doctor’s decision and responsibility.
Control and privacy
Does the doctor stay in control?
Yes. OWL fills the form, but you review and can change every field. Nothing is saved as a prescription until you confirm it.
Who can see my patients’ records?
Only the doctor who creates a record can see it. Doctors sign in through the central Spark Mithila account service.
What happens to the audio?
The audio is used to turn your dictation into text. OWL is designed not to keep the recording after the text is created.
Where is the data stored?
Hosting and storage locations are being finalised as OWL rolls out. We will share them with every clinic before it starts and in the product’s privacy notice.
Does this website collect patient data?
No. This website never asks for patient information. If you contact us, you choose what to share by WhatsApp, phone or email.

Pricing depends on the size of your practice. Contact us with a few details about your clinic and we will share a plan that fits.
Do I need special equipment?
OWL runs in a web browser. You need a device with a microphone and an internet connection.
