Privacy policy

This policy explains how Spark Mithila (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit the OWL website at owl.sparkmithila.com or contact us through it. It covers this website only. The OWL app has its own privacy notice, which clinics receive before they start using it.

1. No patient data

This website never asks for patient information. Please do not send patient details through WhatsApp, phone or email when you contact us about OWL.

2. Information you choose to send us

The website has no account sign-up and does not store messages on its own servers. When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive the details you choose to share, for example your name, phone number, email address, clinic or hospital name, city, preferred language and your question.

We use this information only to:

• reply to your question or demo request;
• arrange and run a demo of OWL;
• share pricing and, if you decide to go ahead, set up your clinic.

We do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you informed.

3. Analytics

We may use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not identify you, to count visits and see which pages are useful. It loads only after you agree in the banner, and you can change your choice at any time. We do not use advertising trackers.

4. Technical data

Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. This data is not used to identify you.

5. Who handles the data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Service providers that handle data for this website:

• Vercel, which hosts the website;
• WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us on WhatsApp;
• our email provider, when you email us;
• our analytics provider, only if you agree to analytics.

We may also share information where the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last conversation, unless you become a customer, in which case the terms of your agreement apply. After that we delete them.

7. Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, have it erased, or withdraw consent you have given. You may also nominate another person to act for you, and raise a grievance with us. Write to customer.support@sparkmithila.com; we will reply within a reasonable time.

8. Grievance contact

For privacy questions or complaints, contact Spark Mithila at customer.support@sparkmithila.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children

This website is meant for doctors and healthcare organisations, not for children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our terms and conditions.
